Anneke Wills

Anneke Wills was already a busy actress, having appeared in TV series including The Railway Children and The Avengers, when she was cast in Doctor Who. She played Polly, a companion to the First and Second Doctors, in nine serials from 1966 to 67. After leaving Doctor Who, she starred in ITV crime drama Strange Report. Wills returned to the role of Polly in 2009, in The Companion Chronicles: Resistance, and has continued to develop the character in several Big Finish releases since.
