Hattie Morahan
Before joining the Doctor Who universe, Hattie Morahan was already well-known for films including The Golden Compass and the BBC TV adaptation of Sense and Sensibility. She had also won a 2013 Critics’ Circle Award for her leading role in A Doll’s House at the Young Vic. Making her Big Finish debut in 2015 in the box set Doom Coalition 1, Morahan’s character, the linguist Helen Sinclair, became an enduring companion of the Eighth Doctor. Her more recent screen credits include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Apple TV series Hijack, and Netflix’s Luther: The Fallen Son.
